About Us
Michelle Saunders, co-Founder & Lead Upholsterer
Michelle Saunders, the creative force behind Upholstery on Wheels. Her journey began at Bentley Motors, where she trained as a trimmer and spent 14 years mastering the art of luxury vehicle interiors. Working with the finest materials and to exacting standards, she honed her skills at one of the world's most prestigious car manufacturers.
After relocating to the South of England, Michelle traded Bentleys for camper vans, crafting unique custom interiors in leather and vinyl. Her flair for design and colour, along with her knack for understanding clients' visions, truly blossomed in this new setting.
Today, Upholstery on Wheels is Michelle’s passion project, where she and her team bring beauty and quality to homes and businesses alike. From restoring cherished family heirlooms to designing show-stopping café and kitchen seating, Michelle takes pride in every detail, delivering superb craftsmanship and exceptional finishes.
